  1.                         UPDATE STOCK HELP SCREEN

  4.      It is assumed that all stocks will be updated on a periodic basis. 
  5.      For the most accuracy in the buy and sell signals this should be
  6.      updated on a daily basis.  The information necessary for the program
  7.      requires the daily high, low, close, and volume figures.  These
  8.      figures are available from a variety of stock newspapers or your
  9.      broker.                          
  10.            
  11.      This program is designed with the small investor in mind. (Portfolios
  12.      of from $5,000 - $50,000).  Because of this, downloads from the
  13.      computer data bases were not considered because of their cost.  Unless
  14.      you have a considerably larger portfolios these automatic updates add
  15.      considerable overhead to any profit that might be made.               
  16.                              
  17.      The daily high, low, and close figures are entered at the prompt for
  18.      each figure.  For example:                                            
  19.                    
  20.                         24 1/2 would be entered as 24.5                  
  21.                         14 7/8 would be entered as 14.875

  24.               PRESS F1 TO CONTINUE OR F2 TO RETURN TO THE PROGRAM.
